We believe that every member of a church has a role in the overall health and welfare of a growing church. At Gospel Community, we are blessed to have members of all ages including those who are 55+. We are most joyful and still young at heart.

The 55+ Joyful Ministry exists to bring together these 55+ seniors to share and fellowship together. We accomplish this through events and outings designed to provide opportunities to share Jesus, relax and have fun, enjoy each other's company, and grow closer through prayer and fellowship. Some events have included Game Nights, Trash and Treasure Night and a Walk Down Memory Lane. We have also had an International Food Night and a Thanksgiving Dinner. In April 2010, we are travelling to Lancaster, PA to see the Sight & Sound Production of Joseph.

The mission of the 55+ Joyful Hearts Ministry is to provide a monthly atmosphere of joy and fellowship in a comfortable setting and allow for worshipping and honoring God and thanking Him for His many blessings in our lives. This Christ-centered ministry prepares each of its members and participants to continue in their walk with Jesus with times of food, fun and fellowship. We are never too old to have fun and provide leadership and mentoring to our younger church members.

We normally meet on the 3rd Friday of the month starting around 7 PM. 

There are some new and exciting events planned for 2010.
